Am I a fit for this program?

This retreat is designed for individuals navigating prolonged grief from experiences such as the loss of a loved one, divorce, or other significant life changes. It is intended for those who have moved beyond the acute phase of grief, as undergoing a psilocybin experience during that stage may intensify already overwhelming emotions. This retreat is best suited for those who feel a sense of 'stuckness' in their grieving journey and are seeking a path forward. It includes one-on-one preparation, multiple group preparation sessions, in-depth integration sessions, additional resources, and additional support for those who need it.

Benefits of Psilocybin for Prolonged Grief

For those who have been struggling with prolonged grief, psilocybin can be a powerful tool in the journey toward healing and reclaiming a full, meaningful life.

I participated in Odyssey's grief retreat, and found it truly profound—something you have to experience firsthand to fully understand. The facilitators were knowledgeable about plant medicine and grief—two areas that were equally important to me. They were compassionate, patient, and fully committed, giving so much of themselves to each attendee.

Service Center

Service Center

Most of our retreats take place at Fernlove, which is both a retreat center and licensed service center. For retreats at other venues, on the journey day we'll travel to a nearby licensed service center.

State regulations require that the psilocybin session take place at a licensed service center, and we have hand-picked the most comfortable and trustworthy centers in the state. These centers incorporate all of the essential elements of a physical setting for a psychedelic journey—safe, physically comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, quiet, and free of potential distractions or interruptions—and more.

Fernlove is truly one-of-a-kind — the only licensed service center in the state nestled deep within nature. Surrounded by sprawling acres of lush forest, it offers the state's only nature-immersed psilocybin experience, where healing and transformation unfold in the heart of the wilderness.

What Our Clients Say

Release of physical and psychological pain from my heart. I chose Odyssey because it was focused on grief and that was the emotion that was holding me back despite therapy and meditation. Amanda and Caroline were amazing—supportive, kind and highly intuitive. Love them!

It was an experience that you actually have to experience for yourself to understand. I would say it will be one of the most profound experiences of your life. The deciding factor was that it was combined with a grief retreat, and that was what I was specifically looking for. Both facilitators were knowledgeable in regards to the plant medicine and grief. They were compassionate, patient, and gave completely all of themselves to us. They truly cared about each attendee.

It was life changing. Full of support, compassion and great food too! Amanda and Caroline were incredibly kind and supportive and nurturing every step of the way. They put me at ease and made me feel like I had known them my whole life.
ElinorNew York, USAOdyssey retreat participant, November 2024
Experiencing the wonder of psilocybin with a group of people searching for insight and personal growth was incredibly enriching. I found the advance group preparation and all the integration work following the experience to be as powerful as the plant medicine itself. Odyssey's multiple-day retreat, focused on grief, offered a much fuller experience. Being able to talk through the experience and insights with other participants was invaluable.
