Terri Shelton, LCSW

Terri is a trauma-informed therapist who blends evidence-based modalities with somatic practices to regulate the nervous system. She explores all areas of her clients' healthcare and daily habits that could affect mental health.

Terri Shelton, LCSW

Terri is a trauma-informed therapist and natural medicine facilitator who believes healing begins with reconnecting to the wisdom that already exists within us.

Works best with

Trauma Recovery and Post-Traumatic Growth
Individuals ready to engage deeply with unresolved trauma and move toward healing, integration, and greater resilience.
Veterans and First Responders
Veterans and others with military-related experiences seeking support from a facilitator with extensive experience serving this population.

How Terri works

  • Clinical and evidence-based

Grounded in licensed clinical practice and the psychotherapy research the trials were built on.

  • Mindfulness and meditation

Attention trained before the journey, so the session has something steady to return to when it intensifies.

  • Nature-based practice

The outdoors used deliberately: walking, sitting and integrating in the landscape rather than only indoors.

  • Somatic and body-led

The body read as closely as the conversation: what someone is carrying is often physical before it has words.

What's included

  • Odyssey Foundations

Eligibility screening, licensed facilitators personally vetted by our founder, and evidence-based protocols inspired by clinical trials.

  • Individual Integration

Two one-on-one integration sessions with your facilitator, in person or by video. Make sense of what happened and start turning insight into lasting change.

  • Ongoing Support

Lifetime access to our group integration circles. If you have a particularly hard journey, our Odyssey safety net adds up to five more integration sessions to help you through it.

  • Travel insurance

We recommend it in case plans change, but it's booked separately and not part of your experience cost.

What people say

In their words

Terri has really helped me identify and understand my symptoms, and from there, she has helped me develop tools to cope and get through the situation. It took me years to realize I have issues and to seek help, but I was so glad I finally did and so appreciative of the opportunity to receive the help I needed from her.
